Let’s party like half a million cats got saved – because they did!

April 4, 2016

Believe it, because it’s true: As of April 11, 2016, all the shelters of the Million Cat Challenge will have saved half a million cats’ lives! And that means it’s time to celebrate!

Please join us as participating shelters, supporters, and animal lovers everywhere mark the big half-million counter rollover on our Facebook page on Monday, April 11, at 3 PM Eastern Time. Confetti, a celebratory video, and kittens galore will be part of the festivities, along with our gratitude for Challenge shelters’ hard work and conviction that every cat counts!

“We’ve reached a tipping point; nobody wants to turn back now,” said a happy Dr. Kate Hurley. “Shelters now have strategies that are more humane, more effective, and better serve cats and communities. These strategies really work, and on April 11, we’ll have 500,000 witnesses to prove it.”

We can’t wait to see you on April 11!
